Jaeger-LeCoultre NOS steel automatic wristwatch

This is an incredible rarity. A 1940’s automatic steel wristwatch by JLC, that has never been used. With its 34mm diameter and nice rounded case design it wears like a charm. What is really interesting here though, is the dial. A two tone dial with spectacular large lume plots that have aged to perfection. The blued steel handset ties it all together. The watch has a chunky crown that is very easy to operate. It is delivered on the original cognac colored pigskin strap. Furthermore, there is the original steel Wenger buckle and the watch still includes the original hand written JLC hangtag. This is ‘once it’s gone, it’s gone’ category.
