IWC fancy lugs from 1946

1 in stock

This is an incredibly rare mid 1940’s IWC in NOS condition. The international watch company is mainly known for its no-nonsense minimalist designs so this one is a bit of an outlier, but in a good way. The 34mm steel case has very nice fancy faceted lugs that run all the way up to the dial. The case retains all of its factory finish. The dial is breathtaking with applied pyramid markers as well as arabic markers. The minute track is a beautiful perlage and adds some depth to the design. The hands are minimalist baton hands to put full focus on the case and dial design. Inside is the famous caliber 89 manual wound movement. One of the best manual winding movements ever produced. This one comes in untouched condition. The watch comes on a brown leather strap with aftermarket steel buckle. If you would like to know about this stunner, feel free to contact us.
