This is a fantastic 30,5mm steel Jaeger-LeCoultre calendar wristwatch. This model was introduced in 1935 and was very technically advanced for its time. It has a pointer date as well as a weekday display. This particular example has never been touched since its production, which is unheard of. What makes this watch particularly interesting is the amount of details packed into a relatively small case. There is a bright red date display and outer date ring, then there is radium filled numerals and hands that have aged to perfection with perfectly even color. There is small seconds at six, and the whole dial plays with the light through its two tone design. Combine that with a timeless case design and this watch is an absolute winner.
Inside is a rectangular movement that is fitted in a metal casing to fit it in the round case. The watch comes on its original factory burgundy strap complete with its original and incredibly rare AW buckle. If you would like to know more, feel free to contact us.
