Ulysse Nardin 18k Calendar Moonphase

This is a very rare and limited production run from the early 1990’s, of an Ulysse Nardin 18k Moonphase. What is striking is the amount of information displayed on a 28mm diameter watch. Originally this was one of the most complicated lady wristwatches on the market in this sizing. It is rare to see complicated wristwatches for ladies. I do not understand why as they are absolutely beautiful. Some similar pieces have been produced by Breguet during the same era. However overall the focus stays on design oriented time only watches.  The case design of this Ulysse Nardin 18k Moonphase is reminiscent of the oyster case by rolex. This particular case comes in unpolished condition. It is a very interesting conversation piece, and in addition it runs on a beautifully finished manual winding calibre.
