This is a super rare full set that was sold by Cartier in the 1960’s. The watch was made by Corum for Cartier Paris. It is housed in an ultra thin 35mm 18 carat yellow gold case, which comes in super sharp and unpolished condition. The dial has lightly spotted, but has aged nice and evenly, giving the watch some extra charm. At 12 o’clock we find the interesting applied Corum key logo, with the Cartier brand name added below. Of course the case bears all the Cartier inventory numbers as well as the gold hallmarks. The manual wound caliber comes in a nice condition. The watch comes on an iconic and original Cartier deployant clasp with french eagle hallmark and period correct numbers. If you would like to read more about french hallmarks, go here. The gold screws are unmolested. The watch is currently on its original crocodile strap which has dried out, but showcases the original condition of the watch. A new strap will be made to measure for the next caretaker and is included in the sale. Last but not least there is the original and rare 1960’s original Cartier box. This is a rare opportunity to own a full set Corum Cartier from the 1960’s.
