The Cartier Tank Louis 18k has changed very little over its 100 plus years of existence, and that is its strength. The watch is instantly recognizable and seen as a symbol of elegance worldwide. It’s design is based of World War One tanks and is a lesson in simplicity. That combined with precious gold and a sapphire topped crown is an evergreen. The dial is white porcelain with black roman numerals. The dial has acquired a so called spider effect, which is appreciated by collectors. The sword hands are executed in blued steel to add to the detail.
This Cartier Tank Louis 18k comes in very nice condition. It has not been polished and all screws are intact, which is not always the case. Executed in 18k yellow gold in the classic dimensions 23x30mm. A new battery has just been inserted, so the watch is ready for its new owner.
