Frederique Constant has added a fourth colour to its Classic Worldtimer Manufacture line, with forest green joining the white, black, and blue versions.
The new Classic Worldtimer Manufacture Green is presented in two variations, both as limited editions: 718 pieces in stainless steel and 36 in 18-carat rose gold.
Their 42 mm x 12.15 mm cases are powered by a Manufacture calibre that allows the wearer to read the 24 time zones at a glance while also provides a useful date hand display.
The dial portrays a world map in relief against a sunburst-finished green background. The outer disc bearing the full names of all 24 reference cities is paired with a 24-hour disc split into a lighter section denoting day-time and a dark green half for night-time.
At 6 o’clock, a matte date ring encircles a sunburst guilloché centre that makes the date hand stand out clearly.
All the functions can be intuitively adjusted using the onion-shaped crown.
The hour and minute hands, along with each hour marker, are filled with Super-LumiNova for enhanced readability in low-light environments.
The FC-718 in-house calibre and its openworked oscillating weight can be admired through the sapphire caseback. Decorated with perlage and Côtes de Genève patterns, this self-winding movement operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and offers 38 hours of power reserve.
Fitted with a dark green alligator leather strap secured to the wrist by a folding buckle, the watch is water-resistant to 30 metres / 100 feet.
